I am not really good with words when it comes to sharing my feelings about a place but I am hoping these few images will say it all. We heard many good things about Sri Lanka before visiting but neither Anastasia nor I really knew what to expect. I think it is safe to say that we both felt so inspired by the lush nature, the historical heritage, the diversity of the wildlife but most of all the kindness of the people. I would like to especially thank our new friend Sudath for welcoming us and guiding us around his beautiful country with open arms. If you ever visit Sri Lanka you should get in touch with this man! The destinations that we visited include in chronological order: Dambulla cave temple, Sigiriya rock, Kandy Tooth temple, Little Adam’s peak in Ella, Yala National Park, whale watching in Mirissa, Lunuganga Estate in Galle and some urban explorations in Colombo. This was also the first time I got to experiment with a drone and pull a small film together. Not a masterpiece but it was a lot of fun!
